Scope of work

STEP 1

Product research & keyword analysis

With the use of the Mattel product descriptions from the US and the keyword analysis tools we have available, we will identify the top performing keywords for advising the various products to the target audience. With the limited characters for each area, we aim to include the top 5 words/phrases within the various sections. For more information see our keyword analysis section below.

STEP 2

Copywriting

After completing the analysis of the words appropriate for the audience, we will structure the copy to achieve the best from an SEO perspective and audience needs. The language used will also be created knowing the copy is being based on a 3rd party website. With experience in content writing across numerous websites, we are strong believers in our expertise for achieving incredible results.

STEP 3

Review

Once completing stages 1 & 2, we have set time to review the copy for each Mattel product. We want to ensure the copy is suited for 3rd party use and achieves your goal from an SEO perspective. We understand the importance of SEO but also are aware of the importance of a strong eCommerce product description.

INCREASE IN VISIBILITY FOR VOCATIONAL DANCE SCHOOL

appearances in Google Maps for industry search terms following SEO campaign, up from 10k the previous quarter

Before working with Theme Digital we didn’t even realise how much we needed to use SEO services, but since working with them we are now coming up in the top 3 on relevant searches not only in our immediate area but county wide. Our web presence has increased and I have no doubt that with the number of people now using search engines to find services this has contributed to an increase in customer interest.

Keyword analysis

Keyword analysis means to research words/terms that users will be typing in when searching for your products.

Once understanding the audience volumes for each product on offer, we aim to use a number of tools and our proven, effective SEO strategy to write the copy for 160 products.

With content being supplied from the US, we will be responsible for promoting and repurposing that content to aid SEO. As part of that, we’ll be conducting regular competitor and audience research to create content that could best use of the entire search engine results pages (eg Google’s Q and A box) for the products hosted on 3rd party sites. As well as industry-standard SEO tools like SEMRush, Moz and Google’s own keyword tool – all of which will help paint a broad picture of the search landscape – we will also have access to several tools that analyse Amazon’s search data. While we know that Amazon will be creating their own listing copy for your products, we feel that as the largest eCommerce platform, their data will give a much clearer indication of the terms being used further down the buyer cycle (there’s a clearer intent on Amazon than in generic Google search). So by analysing the vast amount of data that Amazon has, we can better identify trends and key terms.

For further analysis we plan to conduct our keyword analysis with use a variety of tools. This includes:
  • Google Keyword Planner for Google Shopping keywords
  • Google trends to identify terms for target areas
  • Keywordtool.io to identify terms used across a variety of 3rd party sites
  • sellics.com to measure keywords for product descriptions

OTHER DIGITAL AREAS

Nick and his team were excellent to work with. They helped bring our vision to life, and during the process, were extremely responsive, even putting in extra hours to make sure we met our launch date. I have worked with many agencies throughout my career and Theme was by far the best.
